From your end, the key to successfully working on commission is your ability to be flexible and communicate with whomever hires you.

I don't mind paying for shipping for it. I'm looking for kinda realistic kinda Call of Cathuli type paintings. I am very specific on the style I'm looking for though. These characters are very close to my heart and I have a very specific vision for them.
I understand that my budget may be a bit low for what I'm looking for, but if I find what I'm looking for I don't mind paying more. If you link some previous works or portfolios I'll look through them. And please don't be discouraged.
The artwork I've seen thus far is beyond my expectations. It's just not what I'm looking for at the moment. I'm a freelance artist with a BFA specializing in 'real' painting and figurative work.
This sounds right up my alley. I typically work with acrylics in a variety of styles/sizes and I've shipped paintings as large as 4'x5' so I should be able to accommodate whatever you have in mind.
If my work interests you, the next step would be to start talking size and composition (backgrounds, poses, etc). If you chose me for the project I would usually start off sending you thumbnail sketches of different layouts and then send updates as the painting progresses to make sure it's on track to fulfill your vision. Please check out samples of my work and let me know if you'd be interested in working together and let me know if you have questions.Thanks,Joshua.
