Hi.I am new to this forum and found out about it through the official HijackThis site who seems not to be opening any new help tickets. As an FYI I consider myself to be generally computer literate.I build my own, now a touch of programming, been tinkering for 20+ years with computers. As for my PC.I just reinstalled Windows 10 and everything was going fine and ironically enough I wanted to get some sort of anti-malware program but I guess I stumbled on something that completely took over my computer. My browswer pops up tabs, my google searches get hijacked, Chrome itself seemed to itself even disappear so I reinstalled it.
Release ThronebreakerTheWitcherTales-HOODLUM (self.CrackWatch) submitted 7 months ago. by EmuBii CrackWatch Store. Perhaps it's a bit more complicated in this case since Thronebreaker is automatically launched through GOG and connected to your account in order to allow it to unlock cards and skins in Gwent? Elamigos has a release.
A handful of programs were installed, some which I couldnt even find through a google search. I wish I had found out about this site first because I tried to fix everything myself.
I ran AVG AntiVirus Free, Malwarebytes Premium free trial, Hitmanpro free trial, HijackThis and Revo Uninstaller. They all found some things which they quarantined and removed but I still see some things pop up in HijackThis that haven't gone away and Chrome still seems to be acting up a bit. I just have a feeling that all is not well on my PC. I spent time installing a lot of my programs and just had a fresh installation of Windows 10 and would like to avoid starting from scratch again.Look forward to any help I may receive.thank you in advance.Edited by Platypus, 12 December 2018 - 01:25 AM.Removed email address to avoid it being harvested by spammers.
